Bagatelle St-Chinian “Au Fil de Soi” 2018


The Clos Bagatelle is a family winery whose wines showcase the excellent terroir in the hills around St. Chinian. Our favorite is the barrel-raised Au Fil de Soi, a blend of Syrah (35%), Grenache (30%), Mourvedre (20%) and Carignan (15%).

This is a rich red wine with plenty of ripe fruit accompanied by pleasant mineral notes. The 2018 is dark, floral, and mineral, with notes of violets, anise, blackberry, and toast.
