Boyer-Martenot Meursault 1er cru “Genevrières” 2018
In his excellent recent book Rajat Parr describes Genevrières as: “crystalline in structure, at once gossamer and formidable.” We’ve asked to buy Vincent Boyer’s cuvée for years, but received our first allocation only last year.
Burghound: “smoky and naturally exotic aromas of Asian-style tea, white peach and a background nuance of wood. There is fine richness and intensity to the impressively voluminous flavors that are a bit more refined compared to those of the Charmes, all wrapped in a lingering finale.”
