Garenne Sancerre Alliance 2025

The Godon-Reverdy family is one of Sancerre’s best known producers, crafting organic Sauvignon Blanc of the highest character at Domaine de la Garenne. They are thoughtful and focused, using biodynamic techniques in the cellar and sheep to graze the grass between their vines. Their wines combine crisp refreshment with real personality, expressing the distinctive terroirs of Sancerre with precision, energy, and remarkable consistency.

Alliance is a blend of three terroirs — clay, limestone, and flint. This is everything you want from Sancerre: splashes of perfectly ripe fruit, including grapefruit, pear, and lime, over a chiseled mineral core bursting with chalk and stones. Crisp, refreshing, and dry, it is a weeknight staple at our house and makes a perfect house white for the table.
