Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 2024

Thomas Morey’s wines are always clean, precise, and elegant. The 2024 vintage is an excellent showcase for his style, with finished wines that are fine examples of what Jasper Morris MW admiringly describes as the “chiselled Thomas Morey style.”

A blend of nine parcels across the appellation with vines of varying ages, the 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet was already very expressive aromatically when we tasted it at the domaine in March. It is a step up in body from the Bourgogne, with well-balanced orchard fruit across the palate and a fresh finish. It should offer years of quality drinking.
