Morey Santenay 1er “Grand Clos Roussot” 2024

Over the years we’ve come to appreciate more and more Thomas Morey’s skill with red wine. His reds share the same precision and elegance that define his whites, and the 2024 vintage is an excellent expression of that style.

Santenay is the Côte de Beaune village whose reds are most like those of the Côte de Nuits, with a riper, rounder character than most of its neighbors. Morey’s Grand Clos Roussot always ages beautifully, and the precision and elegance of his style serve the vineyard well. Look for notes of stones, cassis, and wild honey, with a refined, beautifully balanced palate full of energy and dark fruit.
