Coutier Champagne Millésimé 2019

The Coutier family has been rooted in Ambonnay since 1619, producing small-batch Champagnes exclusively from their own organic Grand Cru vineyards. Their wines capture the natural richness of this celebrated Pinot Noir village while remaining remarkably expressive, balanced, and true to the character of grower Champagne.

The 2019 Millésimé is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay that spent six years on the lees before release. Though technically Extra Brut at just 3 grams of dosage, it is full of depth and texture, with an exquisite, fresh nose layered with papery dried fruit. Complex, refined, and increasingly compelling as it opens in the glass, it is a Champagne of exceptional sophistication.
