Vessigaud’s Macon-Solutré-Pouilly is a terrific new wine from a regional-level Maconnais appellation. It’s pure, unoaked chardonnay from 35 year old vines and raised entirely in stainless steel. The resulting wine delivers and explosive bouquet of white flowers, pear and stones. The mouth is crisp, lush and delightful with terrific tension. We think this offers tremendous value.
