Gautheron Chablis 1er Fourneaux 22

The Fourneaux premier cru 2022 regular cuvée was raised without any oak. In weight it is more Puligny than Meursault, to borrow a comparison from the Côte d’Or. When we tasted it, the nose was showing subtle ripe fruit, leaning orchard over citrus. Its combination of ripeness and elegance is hard to beat, and we serve it across a range of dishes.
